This means that you are assessed as competent to work in the industry and most importantly - have passed that assessment to work on Gas Appliances.

Therefore, before welcoming an engineer into your home it is crucial you check that they are on the Gas Safe Register and therefore qualified to work on your appliances. Without doing so, you could be leaving yourself at risk.
